Description

Mary Keppeler has been communicating through the elegance and grace of the harp for over thirty years. She expresses clear, clean sounds through a resonant, restful, yet energizing music. Mixing classical, popular and folk arrangements, she creates music that can convey moods ranging from playfulness to quiet reflection or nostalgia to elegant wonder.

Mary plays for weddings, receptions, private parties, funerals, corporate and charitable functions, and regional orchestras. Some of her clients for private functions have been the Milwaukee Athletic Club, Milwaukee Brewers Corporation, Medical College of Wisconsin Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and the American Cancer Society. She has been playing for High Tea at Milwaukee's most elegant and historic hotel, the Pfister Hotel, since November 2005. In addition to solo harp engagements, Mary is active as a free-lance orchestra and ensemble harpist. Performances include those with Green Bay Symphony, Manitowoc Symphony, Sheboygan Symphony, Dudley Birder Chorale, Milwaukee Master Singers, Lutheran A Capella Choir, Cluj (Romania) Opera Chorus, Tokyo International Singers and Mannheim Steamroller.

  • Mary did a great job. She was low maintenance. Everything was arranged and in place in advance. She showed up on time, was prepared and played the requested music exceptionally well. Things could not have gone smoother or better. Thank you. Ed Mathews -- Edwin M, Milwaukee, WI, 12/10/2011
  • Mary started playing as the guests came in to dinner reception hall. People were commenting how wonderful the sound was as they enjoyed dinner. Her musical selections were perfect. We had a 16 piece jazz band for the dance and as they were setting up, they were so impressed with her work that they asked for her name and card. I would recommend her anytime. She made our daughter's wedding very special. -- Julie G, Fond Du Lac, WI, 9/17/2011
  • Mary did an amazing job! We couldn't have asked for anyone better. She arrived promptly before any of the guests and began playing immediately. Mary was awesome at responding to emails and answering any questions we had. I would recommend Mary to anyone who is looking for a professional, impressive, and amazing harpist. Our guests all commented on how wonderful she was! Thank you Mary for helping to make our wedding a memorable event. -- Emily S, Milton, WI, 6/18/2011
  • I have guests still to this day, 4 mos later, talking about her performance and how romantic it made our wedding. 5 is not high enough to rate Mary. If you don't book her, than you've just booked second best. -- Jim A, Lake Geneva, WI, 5/27/2011
  • Mary was wonderful to work with. I was planning my wedding in Wisconsin while living in Atlanta and Mary played music over the phone for me! It was so wonderful. -- Jaimi K, Madison, WI, 9/27/2008
