Liesl Hagan

Liesl Hagan is a professional classical harpist, available for weddings, parties, worship services and other special events, as well as orchestral and theater work. She also serves as the current president of the American Harp Society's Georgia chapter. Liesl has played classical harp for 16 years, starting at age 9. She studied for 10 years in Tampa, Florida and for another 4 years at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. At Davidson, Liesl performed with the Davidson College Symphony Orchestra, as well as with other local groups in Davidson and nearby Charlotte. She also volunteered with the Charlotte Hospice program, playing harp music for terminally ill patients. Since that time, she has lived in Atlanta and performs solo as well as with various orchestral and theater groups, including the Greenville Symphony Orchestra in Greenville, South Carolina, the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra, and the Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern.

• Liesl played for my mother who has brain cancer. My mother requested a harpist, but she calmed my family as much as my mom. Her personality & professionalism are impeccable. I plan now to hire Liesl to work in my daughter's weddings in the future! Having been a former asst. band director, I can attest to her ear for music & her high ability levels.
