Description
With a Bachelor's degree in harp performance from Oberlin Conservatory, as well as a Master of Arts in music from the University of California Santa Cruz, I have been playing professionally for over a decade. My main instrument is a classical, concert grand harp. I have played in venues around the SF Bay Area, New York City, and Northern Ohio. I have the experience and professionalism necessary to do an exquisite job, whether I am providing music for a wedding ceremony, religious service, or corporate event. With every performance I do, I strive to convey my love for music and for the harp, and I take pride in performing with the highest level of musicality. I cultivate a wide repertoire that spans genres; from classical, to pop, to celtic harp--I will cater to your musical vision with hip, unique flair.

Feedback
- I hired Elizabeth to play at my wedding ceremony and she was wonderful! She was helpful (and so patient!) in helping me choose the right music. She was friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. Everyone commented on how beautiful she played. Highly recommended!!! -- Julissa P, Gilroy, CA, 10/25/2009
- Elizabeth Mier performance was fantastic, her music selection was wonderful.
Many of our attendees were leaders of our small community along with representative from the Monterey County's Supervisors, our State Assembly, Congress and Senate and they were very impressed.
I would highly reommend Elizabeth Mier to any one that is looking for a wonderful light music. -- Frances M, Gonzales, CA, 3/20/2010
- Elizabeth was very professional and patient with me, seeing as how the ceremony started later than planned. She had to play "Here Comes the Bride" five times before I finally made my enterance (due to some technical difficulties with my wedding coordinator and the elevator I had to make my enterance from). She was also very patient with me after the ceremony waiting for her check. I got very positive feedback about her and her music and highly recommend her to anyone considering to hire a harpist for their event! -- Allison W, Modesto, CA, 6/5/2010
- Liz is amazing! And her harp is simply beautiful, which makes a very big impact on the mood of the performance. Her classical arrangements are really lovely, but we were most excited about her unconventional pop repertoire for our quirky outdoor wedding. Not only was Liz happy to indulge our unusual taste in pre-ceremony music (from Led Zeppelin to Peter Frampton), she had wonderful suggestions for the pacing of the ceremony music, and even learned an additional Beatles piece for our recessional, which just made our day. I can't recommend working with Elizabeth Mier highly enough! -- Teresa A, Hopland, CA, 10/1/2011
- Elizabeth was amazing! We would hire her again in an instant. She was on time, accommodating and extremely professional. Her repertoire included a wide range of works both classical and conventional. We would highly recommend her! She is just fabulous. -- Rick R, Hollister, CA, 11/19/2011
- My tenants loved the music for our event. -- Alicia T, San Francisco, CA, 12/15/2011
- I am thankful that I was able to find Elizabeth Weir on your website. She was everything and more than what we expected. She was very easy to work with, she was on time for the event and her talent on the harp was impeccable. I made sure that many of our guests knew that she was also a USF graduate student and they were delighted to hear that. I would be happy to have her come back to play for us if the need arises. -- Sandy A, San Jose, CA, 2/3/2012
- Everything was perfect -- Larry V, Milpitas, CA, 5/12/2012
- Elizabeth played at my daughters wedding. When she begin to play "The Prayer" as the bridal party began walking down the isle; it brought me to tears. If there were 10 stars for "overall talent" I would give them to her! -- Sheri P, Hollister, CA, 5/19/2012
