Description
Celestial Strings is the music ministry of Rev. William Reister, an ordained Lutheran Christian minister, and his wife, Susan, an organist and pianist with more than 35 years of experience. Pastor Bill is a harpist, vocalist, and pianist with many years of experience as a soloist and member of choral and instrumental ensembles. He is a member of the American Harp Society and plays for dozens of events each year including weddings, banquets, worship services, community groups, private parties, retirement communities etc. He plays a Salvi Orchestra pedal harp and also performs on his celtic lever harps. He welcomes the opportunity to play the harp for your elegant occasion. He provides amplification if needed. He is also available to officiate weddings or conduct funerals in addition to playing the harp. A wedding package is available which includes pre-service harp music, piano, organ or keyboard music by Susan, and officiating by Pastor Bill.
Educational programs featuring the harp are also available. Call to request a complete listing of available programs or to create one for your group or organization. The music of the harp will add elegance to your special event as it has for the hundreds of venues where Pastor Bill has performed in the last ten years. A list of previous events or a demo CD is available upon request. He has performed for the One Ocean Spa, Hospice of NE Florida, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Queen's Harbor Yacht and Country Club, Children's Home Society, Osprey Cove Country Club, Jacksonville Electric Authority, Southside Baptist Church, Town and Country Funeral Home, San Jose Elementary School, and many other satisfied corporate or individual clients. Feedback
- Rev. Reister was absolutely wonderful! He was so kind, coorperative, professional and talented - he is one of the only people involved in this wedding that I didn't have to stay on top of constantly. Instead, he knew his stuff and just did such a great job that it was one of the only parts of the day I didn't have to worry about. We were very grateful for his willingness to play at our wedding, especially with it being New Year's Eve. I would HIGHLY recommend him! -- Casey C, Jacksonville, FL, 12/31/2011

- Reverend Reister is WONDERFUL.
Our Ceremony was beautiful and he really personalized his Sermon for us. He was so helpful to me and I would HIGHLY recommend him as both a Harpist and Minister. He learned a Special Song for Our Ceremony and we were extremely happy.
VERY SATISFIED :) -- Sherri S, St Augustine, FL, 10/29/2011

- Rev. Reister played beautifully at my outdoor wedding yesterday. He was very professional and is extremely talented. He was also very easy to work with and great at suggesting songs. He is knowledgeable about the message/story surrounding many of the pieces he plays, which really helps when choosing songs for certain occasions.
Overall, he was wonderful and I would definitely recommend him. -- Lisa L, Saint Simons Island, GA, 10/4/2008
- We are so happy we found Rev. Reister. He is friendly, caring, warm, talented, professional and accommodating. We liked how prepared he was and how he helped us to find the music that fit our wedding. Anyone who has the chance to hire him will be not only glad, but lucky! Thank you so much!
