Beth Paré, Harpist

"The harp was played by Beth Paré and it took my breath away...." As was posted on the Angel of Hope Michiana website, I hope to take you and your guests' breath away at your elegant event.

I've played in the South Bend Symphony and the Laporte Symphony Orchestras as a regular and as a sub, appeared as a soloist with the South Bend Youth Symphony, performed for eight summers as a featured musician at the Bar Harbor Inn and Asticou Inn on the Maine coast, entertained groups with harp demonstrations, accompanied vocalists and other musicians in recitals, provided a festive musical backdrop for cocktail hours and parties, and last but certainly not least, played at hundreds of weddings and receptions. Members of my audiences have included Joan Rivers, Mel Tormé, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Scribner, and Caspar Weinberger. I consider myself most fortunate to have such a unique and memorable career and truly enjoy each event and its planners and attendees.

In addition to being comfortable in a variety of wedding ceremony settings, from Jewish to nondenominational to Shinto ceremonies, I am director of music and liturgy at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Culver, Indiana, so I'm intimately familiar with the Nuptial Mass as well.
