Anita Burroughs-Price, NC Symphony Harpist

Harpist Anita Burroughs-Price serves Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill,
Pinehurst, and all of North and South Carolina. Harpist with
the North Carolina Symphony since 1986, Anita has also performed as
a soloist throughout the southeast and Europe. She has been a
guest artist at England's Brighton Palace and Italian castles.
She performs at weddings, receptions, corporate events, and memorial
services in the southeast and abroad.

A graduate of Yale School of Music and London's Royal College of
Music, Anita offers a wide variety of musical styles: classical, sacred,celtic, broadway and popular.

She has been featured on Hallmark Television,WCNC (NBC), and newspapers in London, Switzerland and Germany
for her work with "healing harp." She often plays at the bedside of
seriously ill patients, in clinics, Red Cross hurricane shelters.
Her beautiful performances and charitable dedication earned her the Raleigh Medal of Arts, her city's highest honor for"musical excellence
and humanitarian service." Her CD "Healing Touch" won the Hollywoods' 2006 Excellence in Media Award and has raised over $15,000 for the
Interfaith Food Shuttle, Interact, and New Orleans musicians.
