Dr. Anastasia Pike is a conservatory-trained professional harpist native to and based in the Washington, DC/Baltimore metropolitan region. Anna is in demand as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician, and has vast experience performing on national and international television for audiences from European royalty to American dignitaries in both the US and abroad in exclusive venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Lyric Opera House.

In addition to her career as a concert harpist, Anna is also an award-winning pianist, and maintains a private studio of both piano and harp students. She has also been featured on a number of CDs as both harpist and pianist.

Anna is on preparatory faculty at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. She is able to provide a wide range of selections from the classical, jazz, pop, Broadway, folk, and religious repertoire, and will work with you to create a personalized playlist to make your event truly unforgettable.

• As a bride, I had my heart set on an outdoor, waterside wedding ceremony. I wanted simple and inexpensive, yet classic and romantic. Anastasia Pike and our wedding violinist, Maurice, delivered. Not only was Anna prompt and thorough with her e-mail responses (something every busy bride can appreciate), but Maurice was on time, dressed appropriately and he played beautifully. He also "rolled with the punches", as we were married in a public park, on a lawn, with the sun in our faces and no air conditioning.
