About
A native of Charlotte, NC, I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Guitar Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music of Rochester, NY and have twenty years experience playing wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate parties and formal concerts in New York City, Las Vegas and abroad. I play Classical, Spanish, Latin and Popular styles and can arrange practically anything for solo guitar. My debut CD, "Sketches of Latin America," has received very positive reviews (most notably from 'Classical Guitar News' of the UK and 'CD Baby') and is available online through Amazon and iTunes, among other leading online media outlets. "I had David play for my beach wedding in myrtle beach on 6/12/11. He was very professional throughout the whole process and aimed to please. He brought the proper equipment with him so that he was able to be heard despite the beach winds.
I special requested him to play "somewhere over the rainbow" and "i'm yours" by jason mraz, and he played them both flawlessly. My husband and I, as well as all of the guests, were truly impressed with David's exceptional ability to play the guitar. My day was everything I envisioned and I can't help but to thank David for help making it possible!!
I would definitely recommend David to play for any occasion.

"David was professional, courteous, prompt and accommodating. We took a chance hiring someone we had never heard perform in person and we were very pleased with his music. David played for our son's wedding and my only regret is that I was not able to hear all the selections he played as the guests arrived. (It was an outdoor wedding and we were inside until time to do down the aisle.) What I did get to hear was beautiful!
