Description
Jason Sagebiel is an in-demand and engaging performer who has given several world premiers and has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in numerous engagements with performances at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, the Princeton Festival, and the Van Der Stucken Festival. He has been featured on the WNYC radio program 'Soundcheck', and was the feature performer and composer at the highly acclaimed "Concerts and Conversations" series. Jason is the subject of the book "Sound Targets" by Jon Pieslak, and his music is published by Earthsongs Music. A well respected teacher, Jason is on the faculty of the City University of New York, and maintains a bustling private guitar studio.
In addition to his concert work, Jason performs at numerous weddings, parties, cocktail hours, and corporate events - all with excellent reviews - and comes highly recommended by all of his past clients. (Please click the client reviews link to view the feedback.)
A highly professional performer, Jason carries General and Professional Liability Insurance, maintains the highest quality equipment, and uses a high fidelity battery powered amplifier that eliminates the need for unsightly wires, cables, or power extensions at any event. This is perfect for outdoor events, or any other event where the look is as important as the sound.

A Personal Note:
Hi, and thanks for visiting my gigmasters page. I take pride in my work, and work very hard to provide the highest quality product for all of my clients. I am excited to be back and doing this sort of work again, since I always enjoy meeting my clients, choosing and/or arranging music for them, and performing for them. This often can be more meaningful and fulfilling than formal concerts, since these performances are more personal and intimate. Anyway, I hope to hear from you soon, and will look forward to performing for you at your event in the near future.
Thank You!
Jason

- I can't begin to describe how pleased I was with Jason Sagebiel's performance. His choice in accompanying musicians was outstanding! Thanks in large part to their efforts, our Holiday Party is the talk of the town.....I can't wait to have them all back again next year. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful music of all genres and a group of professionals that are extremely talented.

- Jason Sagebiel is very musically accomplished. Several guests with significant musical training noted that fact. As to playlist, he has an impressive range. We had him play Brazilian jazz for the cocktail reception at a wedding and then classical guitar (Baroque, renaissance, new classical) for the wedding lunch. All was excellent. Even guests who did not directly listen to him thought that he added to the overall spirit of celebration and joyfulness. My only regret was in not having had more opportunity myself to sit and listen to him. -- Danielle A, Princeton, NJ, 6/27/2009
- He was absolutely wonderful. We couldn't be any happier. The choice of music was great. He was very prompt. Totally awesome experience. -- Denise B, Southbury, CT, 12/8/2007
- Jason could not have been more professional, and his performance was excellent. I had so much on my mind, given that I was proposing to my girfriend that night, and when I look back now, the one thing I did not need to worry about at all, was the music. Jason's chioces were all very appropriate and he is obviously an accomplished performer. Thanks again! -- Christopher G, New York, NY, 3/10/2010
