Hi, my name is Gaku Murata. I'm an alumni of "Berklee College of Music" who worked at Berklee as a staff player, and I had provided my service for functions, parties, weddings, and restaurants/bars around New England. I recently moved to Los Angeles to expand my business. I mainly play classical, jazz standards, popular music, and Latin music, however I will be more than happy to take a couple of requests from you. I'm confident that I'm going to be able to play whatever songs you requests. I also have classical string duo/trio and jazz quartet, which consist with experienced professional musicians. Please check descriptions of my bands below.
-Gaku Murata String Duo consists of cello and guitar. It has been performing classical tunes for ceremonies, and jazz standards for cocktail hours and functions. (Violin is also available up on your request.)
-Gaku Murata Quartet/ Organ Trio specializes in jazz standards (Duke Ellington, Jobim, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Miles Davis, etc.) but can provide any style to fit the mood of your special occasion.
