***Donnie is an accomplished musician experienced and comfortable with arranging music, directing music, improvising, and adapting to any situation. He can provide music for any situation live or recordings, and can accommodate any request. He specializes in adapting any music to a solo guitar piece at the request of clients for special events (weddings, parties, etc). Donnie is available for hire to play live as a solo guitarist performing his own material or any material requested, as well as with a duo, trio, quartet, or quintet with an assortment of instruments. He is also available for hire to arrange, transcribe, and or transpose music.
***Donnie is also an experienced educator both in clinics, one on one, privately and for the public education system. In his private and group lessons he provides training on how to practice and perform music, guitar technique (pick, fingerstyle, chording), arranging music for the guitar, reading and transcribing music, improvising and arranging music, etc.
***He plays solo instrumental guitar from a repertoire of hundreds of popular tunes from the 1920's to 2012 hits spanning Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Latin (Brazilian, Flamenco, Mexican, Tango), Rock (Classic Blues-based), Country (Classic, Modern, Bluegrass), Classical, Theme Music, Show Tunes, Holiday Music, etc. All tunes are played from memory.
***If a song is not on Donnie's list, it doesn't mean he doesn't know it. For every quote given, Donnie automatically includes learning up to 5 songs per gig. This includes arranging the song to solo guitar, and recording prior to the gig for the client to use for rehearsal and to keep. He is comfortable improvising transition music for ceremonies, as well as shortening and extending songs when necessary.
***The pro acoustic sound system he uses is small, wireless, and perfect for nearly all situations from intimate indoor venues, to outdoor events. All that is needed is one wall outlet and the amount of space of a standard chair (size of amp), and he can sit/stand/walk around wirelessly up to 200ft away from the amp. He has all gear needed, including all sorts of extension cords, or adapters to plug into the venues overhead sound systems if desired/or applicable.

"Donnie was great to work with, and he is an amazing guitarist. He performed at our October 15th wedding in the Biltmore Estate's Champagne cellar and set the mood for an elegant yet casual wedding. With relatively short notice, we requested a few songs from him that were not originally on his [very extensive] play list. He said it wasn't a problem and played them during our reception.
