David O'Connor

David O'Connor has extensive musical experience, having toured internationally with Leonard Cohen and others. Stateside, he's played in salsa bands, rock bands, jazz bands, duos, trios, you name it. His main interest currently is solo guitar. He plays Spanish, Brazilian, classical, pop, jazz, Latin -- as well as his original songs which draw from his love of all of the above. Often his originals have been chosen by brides and grooms for their processionals and recessionals during their wedding ceremonies. David plays a classical-style nylon-string guitar, and creates a classy atmosphere for any occasion, indoors or out, from the most casual to the most elegant. He's played hundreds of weddings and also performs for corporate events, cocktail hours, private parties, dinner background, and for a variety of special occasions from north of San Francisco to the Monterey Bay and Carmel. • David was fantastic!!! Not only was he able to accomodate my last minute request (maybe 2 weeks prior to the wedding), he did a beautiful job. I love the spanish guitar and it was a dream come true to hear him playing as I made my grand entrance.
