With over 15 years experience as a Full-Time musician, Christopher Ames has been cutting through the issues that can divide and distract us. Whether we come as a prodigal, a seeker, or with the faith of a child… his music will call us to consider that there is always light to get us through our weakest moments.

Christopher Ames is no stranger to studio recording either. His 2004 CD titled BELIEVING BEYOND THE SHADOWS garnered critical acclaim and spawned several Top 10 singles that hit on both Christian and Country radio. After this CD released he went on to receive a KCCM Award (Kansas City Christian Music Award) for Acoustic Rock Artist of the year and in 2006 took home 2 more awards-this time for Songwriter of the Year and ARTIST OF THE YEAR.

In 2006 Christopher Ames released an instrumental CD titled TAKE IT IN. This CD featured both original songs and hymns. It caught the attention of both industry and retail professionals, and for his work he was awarded the 2007 MOMENTUM AWARD for Instrumental Artist of the Year presented in Nashville, TN. Many venues are often looking for instrumental (guitar based) background music. Christopher's acoustic instrumental performance is perfect for restaurants, nursing homes, hospitals, coffee shops, funerals, etc.

But one of his most rewarding accolades was when he received the SPIRIT OF UNITY AWARD in 2006 presented in Nashville, TN. This award recognizes an artist commited to community and fellowship. Christopher was humbled by this recognition and it truly encouraged him to continue in his mission.

In 2008 Christopher Ames released his 5th project titled EVERYDAY WITH YOU. This new CD (recorded in Nashville)generated serious buzz as it focuses on the journey of life and love in marriage and received a 4 star review in Christianity Today. The album is a departure from his traditional acoustic style and is more pop/rock oriented-which appeals to a broad audience. His first single from the CD titled CHAMPION spent over 20 weeks on the CRW Radio Charts. Christopher Ames received the 2009 KCCM Awartd for Songwriter of the Year for his work on this project. Two songs were also recognized as Honorable Mention in the 2009 International Songdoor Songwriting Competition. Christopher was also a finalist in the AC category for the ISSA Awards (International Singer Songrwiter Association).

Christopher Ames is also available as a YOUTH keynote speaker/performer. His YOUTH WORKSHOP titled STAND UP-STANDOUT-and REPRESENT! is very popular at Youth Breakout Events,Youth Rallies and Summer Camps.

In addition to his career in music ministry, Christopher Ames is a strong advocate for Eating Disorder Awareness. Having dealt with this disease in his own family, he is able to offer powerful insight to this challenging disease. You will find his testimony to be inspiring and encouraging.
