Over the last twelve years, I've performed indoor and outdoor weddings, private parties, business conferences, government functions and classical recitals. I've toured Australia with rock bands and choirs, performed in musical theater orchestras, and I've often accompanied singers and other instrumentalists (sometimes at very short notice). I've held a year-long twice weekly solo performance residency at a luxury hotel in Sydney, and a weekly performance residency in a New York bar as accompanist for an awesome soul-singing diva!

I grew up in Australia, but I have a rather diluted and somewhat indistinguishable accent - sorry! I actually lectured (without the tweed, I promise) in electronic music at my alma mater in Sydney, Australia, before chasing my beautiful wife (then fiance) across the world - eventually landing in New York City. My wife sometimes gets jealous of the attention that I give my guitar.

• Regret delay. Away at VMA Awards in LA. I sing. Sorry I have to give Ben the hightest rating, because he deserves it. He is an gifted young artist, who inspired me with trustful accompaniment on the guitar, a musician who is very patient with my ideas. And he gave me much confidence. Coaching me on, he enabled a well-received concert at an elegant dinner party that swelled to over 250 people. His guitar might as well have been an orchestra. Often under difficult logistics, Ben was good natured and a true showman, able to deal with spontaneous musical demands. I would recommend anyone musically to Ben Lahring.
