Terrapin Flyer is a Grateful Dead inspired project that features a revolving cast of some of the finest musicians in the world. Over the past 7 years the band has performed with Rock and Roll legends such as one time Grateful Dead keyboardists Tom Constanten and Vince Welnick as well as Melvin Seals the Hammond B3 player in the Jerry Garcia Band for 15 years. The core of the band features local Chicago musicians consisting of current and former members of The Dark Star Orchestra, Cornmeal, Jack Straw and other prominent regional acts.

The band has and can perform under the names Melvin Seals & Friends or Tom Constanten & Friends or as Terrapin Flyer with special guest... This can all be arranged in the negotiating including having both Tom and Melvin performing together with the band.

Weddings and other special occasion private events can be accommodated.
