HARD DRIVE Funk Band from Salisbury, MD

Hard Drive is a high energy classic R&B funk dance band focusing mainly on great dance music from the 70's, 80's, & 90's. We perform songs by such legendary artists as Stevie Wonder; Earth, Wind, & Fire; Prince; Sly & the Family Stone; Michael Jackson; Kool & the Gang; The Isley Brothers; The Gap Band; Cameo; The Dazz Band; KC & The Sunshine Band, etc. Although that's the main course, we also include a side order of classic rock such as Led Zeppelin. Our music sounds almost exactly like the original recordings and my P.A system is outstanding in quality. Hard Drive is available in different configurations. I am capable of performing as a one-man-band, in which I have a fully orchestrated band sound, as opposed to just strumming an acoustic guitar as most solo musicians do. The Hard Drive Duo consists of me on guitar & vocals and a female vocalist or keyboard player as my partner. The trio version simply adds a live drummer. Drum tracks are present with the solo & duo versions so, drums are never missing in the mix, just missing visually. Each configuration delivers a full band sound & motivates people to dance. I have a great deal of experience as a guitarist/vocalist/soundman. I first started playing guitar way back in '64/'65 when the Beatles first made their powerful debut in the U.S. I have been playing ever since. I also play keyboard, bass & drums. Over the past 4 decades I have performed with James Brown's drummer, Mousey Thompson; The Gap Band & Chuck Brown's keyboard player, Louie Oxley; Foghat's guitar player, Eric Cartwright; and played once with Rick Derringer in his NY studio. I am currently on a cd with Rufus & Chaka Khan's bass player, Bobby Watson; Bruce Springsteen & Ringo Starr's guitar player, Nils Lofgren; the drummer who toured with Kenny Loggins, Mariah Carey & Michael McDonald, Myles Mattison; and Miles Davis' phenomenal jazz guitar player, Mike Stern. I also appeared on a TV show called "Rockin' DC" back in the late 80's.
