Celtic Sounds From humble beginnings as a Pub Band in 2001, Celtic Sounds has emerged as an exciting, fiery group, performing time honored Irish music and songs including a fun filled blend of folk, country and soft rock favorites. With an impressive, stirring presentation, accompanied by guitars, fiddle, mandolin, penny whistles, harmonica, djembe, bodhrans and bag pipes, ,Celtic Sound provides a rollicking good time for all. Celtic Sounds plays throughout the year at corporate functions, charity benefits, pubs, concerts, private parties and festivals. Sure, the only way to really enjoy Irish Music is to join in, that's why Celtic Sounds encourages the audience to sing along, clap or call out a phrase. The purpose of their performance is for everyone to have a good time. Celtic Sounds "groupies" have been inspired to sing along, clap and dance at various locations from the Fox Valley and the Greater Chicagoland area to the Quad Cities, at Festivals, Pubs, Wedding Receptions, Private Parties, for Birthdays, Anniverseries,Concerts, Casinos, and even Wakes. And we can be counted on to sprinkle in a good measure of jokes and stories to keep you laughing. Hear some tunes you may not have heard on the bag pipes before.
