Emily Higgins, Flutist

Are you looking for solo flute, or for flute with harp, guitar, piano, or strings? Emily Higgins can provide elegant solo flute music or ensemble music for your special event. Classically trained, Emily's extensive repertoire includes classical, Celtic, Latin, religious, popular, contemporary, and jazz selections. Emily holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music from the Hartt School in Hartford, Connecticut, where she was a student of New York City Opera principal flutist John Wion and graduated summa cum laude. She has performed with the Long Bay Symphony in Myrtle Beach, SC, and was one of 25 young artists from around the world chosen to participate in the 2004 Manchester Music Festival in Vermont. Emily also teaches private lessons for students at all levels of experience.

Emily performs with harpist Kirsten Carrell, whose press kit can also be found on Gigmasters. She also performs with guitar, piano, violin and/or cello, and can arrange booking of a duo, trio or quartet for your event.
