Style by Design is a boutique design firm located in the Hampton Roads area specializing in interior design and wedding and event planning. Founded in 2010 by owner Amy Stanley. "As the daughter of a crafty mother and construction savvy father and the niece of one of the most talented interior designers in our area, it was only natural that I became obsessed with all things design related." After graduation from Virginia Tech in the School of Architecture + Design's Interior Design program in 2008, she decided to pursue a career in yacht design with Donald L. Blount and Associates. After planning her own wedding she turned her part-time design and planning venture into a full-time one. "We became so busy in the following year that in January of 2012, I left my job at DLBA to pursue Style by Design full-time." The company has grown to offer a vast array of interior and event services including commercial and residential interior design, construction document packages, renderings, 3-d modeling, event planning, event design, floral design, graphic design, and decor rentals.
