Growing up in the South suited Meghan perfectly. Raised on sweet Southern hospitality and a knack for socializing, she was always first to RSVP for the latest party. From the days of her pink froufrou Barbie Doll birthday parties and hand-picking the perfect party favors for her friends, to the months of carefully planning the band, the outfit, and the perfect cake for her sweet 16, Meghan Elizabeth Cease has always loved a celebration. Today she pours her creativity into planning weddings, corporate events, and private parties. M. Elizabeth Events was established after Meghan successfully planned and coordinated a beautiful garden wedding in her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. She's always loved planning parties, tailgates, and other notable events. Perhaps her favorite part of piecing together a memorable event is pouring personal touches of her client's personality into each and every special moment. Meghan has been professionally trained by the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC). She is also a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC). A native of Birmingham, Meghan has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Communications from The University of Mississippi. She has also completed graduate coursework in International Marketing and Project Management. Her passion for to-do lists, budgets, and timelines stems from her experience working in New York City for Conde Nast's Cookie Magazine, David Yurman, and Elie Tahari where she specialized in public relations and special events such as private parties at FAO Schwartz, Bloomingdale's, and W Hotels, boutique openings for both Elie Tahari and David Yurman, and most recently product launch parties for David Yurman's sunglasses and fragrance lines. She's also lived and traveled abroad extensively concentrating on international marketing.
