Emily Petersen is the owner of Emily Weddings. Her experience with weddings dates back to her youth when she performed at numerous ceremonies as a singer. Over time, her passion for weddings caught up to her love for music, and she found herself balancing her singing/entertaining career at Walt Disney World (as a primary vocalist for the Tarzan show) with helping brides and grooms prepare music and programs for their ceremonies. Burdened by the frustration she continually saw in the couples during their rehearsals, she began to assume the role as mistress of ceremonies. As word spread about her passion for weddings and her innate ability to help things run smoothly, her services were requested more and more. This has lead to her present career as one of the top wedding coordinators in Hampton Roads. Emily is a licensed coordinator and has completed the Professional Development Course with distinguished honors through The Association of Bridal Consultants earning her the designation of Professional Bridal Consultant. She is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.
