JJDJ Entertainment have been providing high quality, high energy DJ's in the Northern Va area for over 10 years. We have an enormous music selection. If we do not have music that you are looking for we will obtain it for your event. We carry our laptops with us so with an internet connection we are able to purchase songs during events in case we do not have them. Little things like that is whats makes up a notch about the "other guys". Our DJ's have worked with many big name business such as DJing the Regional Hooters Bikini Contest.

We will be happy to Emcee and DJ any event. Wedding, Banquet, Sweet 16, Holiday Party, Club Night, we do it all!

We have Djs that are former on air personalties and djs who have performed with upcoming bands in the late 60's.

We have performers that specialize in oldies, and performer that specialize in current top 40 & mainstream hiphop/pop. No matter what kind of diverse crowd, we have something to please everyone.

You may ask yourself well "Who is JJDJ Entertainment?"

JJDJ Entertainment was started in 1998, with John Caniford's passion for music. At the age of 12, John and his friend started playing music for neighborhood parties. In the early 2000's John's father, Terry Caniford, opened up a Bar & Grill by day and Nightclub by night. Inspired more by the music and energy of being a DJ he started DJing every Sunday at the weekly outdoor BBQ at his father's bar & grill. Spending his summer months at their restaurant, one Friday night the regular DJ was a no show, so John and his love for music begged his father to let him DJ Friday night. After arguing with his father for an hour, he finally found himself in the DJ booth on the 1's and 2's and hasn't hung up his headphones since.

At the age of 14 John was performing in bars. His parents saw his passion for music and helped him buy his first somewhat "real" DJ setup at the age of 15. By the time John was a junior in high school he was DJing every Friday and Saturday night for private parties, and every Sunday during the summer months you could find him at Montclair County Club DJing their Sunday Pool Party & Hula Hoop Contest.

After graduating high school John found himself booked every weekend. All this was done with just word of mouth advertisement. His repeat business was through the roof. One of many yearly events he DJ's is the Montclair Teen Beach Party, and Adult Beach Party.

Over the years John has DJ'd Hundreds of Weddings, Sweet 16's, Holiday Parties, Pool Parties, and Banquets. He has DJ'd for many big name corporations and charities such as; The American Red Cross, Shaken Baby Prevention, Armstrong Management, Operation Octagon and more. He also DJ'd the 2009 Hooters Regional Bikini Contest. His father, Terry, being a music lover as well, has worked many events with his son, and has said, "it's a great Father/Son bond to be able to go out and DJ together"

John's love for music and entertaining expanded when he ran into an old friend, Jeff Wylde of Wylde Style Productions. Where he started working with the "Kevin & Rock Show" of Wylde Style Radio. From there on out John took on the new name "Little John". He started performing at the Ring Girl Contests, DJing and MCing events for Wylde Style Productions, as well as worked as an "on-air" personality and "IT Guy" for their internet radio show.

John started JJDJ Radio in the summer of 2009 and branching out to hosting his own internet radio show, The Little John & Coop Show. Working with many local and global independent bands, his show was syndicated to multiple other internet radio stations. His love for helping people shined when he MC and Sponsored the 2010 "Lets Rock Children's Cancer Benefit Concert" raising money to help neuroblastoma research.

To Sum it all up, John has DJ'd about every event out there. There are thousands upon thousands of happy customers. John strives to be the best as an entertainer and a DJ. He enjoys entertaining the masses. No party is too small nor too big.

• JJDJ showed up plenty early to setup, worked with us and helped us plan our christmas party. Their music selection was wonderful, provided great upbeat background music and when we were ready to dance they knew how to pack the dance floor! Their light show was amazing! We wanted a fun and clubbish style light show and they brought just that! We have used many Dj's in the past for many events and by far JJDJ is our favorite! I can't rave enough about these guys!
