Just in case you'd like a little personal history... I stumbled into the DJ profession during my senior year at the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul. After graduation, I worked for a great DJ company for a few years, and then decided to start my own in 1996. Since then, we have been able to remain a small company - running a maximum of three DJ units, and concentrating on quality over quantity - and I have been able to make a living as the owner of this small company. It has been a great ride! Two of my former DJs have started their own companies, and another now lives in Haiti, where he and his wife have been helping the Haitian community since 2006. I'm proud of all of them!

• I was worried about getting the right DJ. In fact, I booked and cancelled another guy, before finding Matt via personal recommendation. You know those receptions that are just so-so? My nightmare. But Matt? Nailed it. Totally. Grandma and friends could still visit, not overwhelmed with the volume. When my dad made a request it was immediately handled.
