DESCRIPTION:
Make your event EXTRA FUN this time! Tess-- along with her guitar, banjo, and possibly a couple chickens-- will have everyone entertained and singing (and laughing!) along! These aren't just your usual folk tunes. Sing along with the good old tunes from the 20s, 30s, and 40s. Add some home-made silly stuff, some folk songs, and who-knows-what-else, and everyone from infants to great-great-grandpas will have a great time! From family reunions, to restaurant entertainment, to singing telegrams, Tess will make it a fun event!You may forget the hors de'ouvres, but you won't forget the entertainment! (If indoors, Tess prefers non-smoking venues only.)A recent transplant to the Ozarks, Tess is half of the musical duo, Groovy Tuesday, and loves to jam some blues and rock on electric guitar. And she's done about a dozen stand-up comedy performances, in Hawaii, Boston, and locally. At home, you'll find her writing and recording songs in her cabin in the woods. Her songs have been played on Dr. Demento's show, as well as NPR's "Car Talk". Tess is always on time, always professional, and always brings smiles to her audience, young and old. About the video-- it was an impromptu performance in an Irish Pub. I had just written the song two days prior, and needed the cheat sheet! I'll get a better video clip eventually!-- :)--Tess
