My name is Earl Foster aka, Shampen, "The One Man Orchestra" and I am a Keyboard/Vocalist professionally performing since 1965, First I would like to thank you so very much for considering me for your event, if you do decide to use my services, I promise to make your decision a smart one, by being on time and providing your guests with a truly memorable experience.

I perform as a "One Man Orchestra", keyboard/vocalist, using only the very best, studio recorded, backing tracks, full band arrangements that I sing and play along with. That means you hear drums, bass, guitar, horns, strings, background vocals, whatever the original song had, I record my own arrangements in my state of the art studio, MidiCity Sound.
My influences are what I love to play, namely music from the 1920's to 2000's, Jazz, classic rock, R&B, contemporary, pop, country, and dance music, from artists like:

Earth Wind & Fire,
Boz Scaggs,
Frank Sinatra,
Tony Bennet,
Rick James,
Stevie Wonder,
The Eagles,
Black Eyed Peas, and many more........

I'm available for a variety of engagements that include mellow dinner sets, to full on dancing, rocking up tempo entertainment, and everything in between. I also take any and all requests, I have over 1000 songs that I have personally sequenced. I can also perform strictly "acoustic" piano music, (instrumental or with vocals) which is perfect for Weddings, Receptions, Seasonal or even Corporate Events.

To give you more bang for your buck, I am also a "DJ" and I play great music from every era in between my live sets. I Have over 10,000 songs in every style of music, to keep the entertainment going at the highest level. You can contact me prior to your event with a request list of anything you like, and I will either be performing it or playing it on the breaks. I use three types of setups, very large room, medium size and compact small venue, and all of my equipment is absolutely state of the art, so what you hear is of extremely high fidelity and of high quality.

I consider myself to be an entertainer, because I understand how to inspire people to enjoy themselves and have a good time. I try to judge my audience, and play the type of music that experience tells me will be right to set the right mood. I love to interact with my audience, and try my best to honor all of their requests.

My normal routine is to show up at least an hour before my scheduled start, set up, and test my equipment. This gives me ample time to address any problems that might arise, then I change into my performance clothes, usually a tuxedo, or theme attire, and start precisely on time.
