The Speed Of Thought Players, or SOTP, is a New England based improvisational comedy and theatrical troupe with more than eight years experience and demonstrated success in a variety of venues in and around the New England area. We have a strong audience base and a proven product. The SOTP have performed at clubs and colleges all over Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and in New York City. With over a dozen active members, a variety of game styles, and a fully audience-interactive format the SOTP guarantee you'll never see the same show twice, but you'll definitely want to come back for more. Part of what makes the Speed Of Thought Players successful is their technique for training their performers and creating shows. The SOTP studied a variety of existing precepts and formats relating to improvisational theater, took the best of what worked and fit their vision, and created their own distinctive approach to performing improv comedy. Their mantra is "bigger, louder, faster, and funnier". Typically using a structure that comes closest to the TV show 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?', they rely on their system, their wits, and the host's interaction with their audience to consistently create hilarity and enjoyment.
