Description

You've heard Paul Frisbie on the radio, you've seen him on TV, and you can see him in person at your own event. Paul's standup act is intelligent, original and sometimes musical -- Frisbie usually includes a few funny original songs and song parodies -- and the Chicago Tribune has said that "Paul Frisbie is funny even when he's not performing."

Paul Frisbie is a longtime showbiz pro. He has worked comedy clubs from New York to Seattle, cruise ships from Alaska to Belize, and casinos in every state where they're legal. He has even been to London. He's comfortable with audiences of any size. He has done stadium shows with the likes of Adam Sandler, Jeff Dunham and Michael Bolton. But he has also done plenty of club dates where an ice storm or a playoff game has kept the audience at home, and the crowd was very small indeed. "Every show is different," he says. "That's part of the fun."

Frisbie has made multiple appearances on the nationally syndicated "Bob and Tom Show" and was recently the subject of a full-length feature story in the "Chicago Tribune Magazine." He has worked for more than 400 corporate and private clients. He has collaborated on material for the Tonight Show, and has been taped performing live for Comedy Central and Showtime. Frisbie's latest book, "The Chicago River Out Your Window," is currently available at Barnes and Noble.

Feedback

  • Paul Frisbie was wonderful. Our guests loved him. (I even overheard the catering staff talking about how funny he was.) I would recommend Paul Frisbie to anyone. And if you hire him, make sure he does the routine about his Irish grandmother, which was one of the funniest things I've ever heard in my life. After the show he hung around for awhile and chatted with the guests, and he was utterly charming, answering questions about showbiz and letting them tell him jokes that I'm sure he's already heard. He's not just a brilliant comedian, he's friendly and easy-going. He took our event to a new level, and we'll hire him again next year if he's available. -- Tom S, Orland Park, IL, 11/8/2009
  • Paul Frisbie exceeded our expectations at every level. The second day of our executive meeting was far more creative and productive after a night filled with laughter from Paul's tasteful yet hilarious jokes and commentary. We highly recommend Paul for your next party or meeting...he's good, clean fun! -- Bonnie Jean M, Chicago, IL, 4/20/2006
  • Paul was great. He incorporated just the right amount of personalized material. I have had several comments from attendees that this was our best awards banquet in several years. Thanks Paul! -- Robin H, Hillsboro, MO, 3/27/2006
  • Paul did a great job and help make our event a big success! -- Heidi M, Crystal Lake, IL, 12/22/2005
  • Paukl was great! He had everyone laughing! I would definitely hire him again for another party! Everyone loved him! -- Teri S, Wauconda, IL, 10/15/2005
