DESCRIPTION:
"Spine Chilling"... "He must be lip syncing"... are typical statements at his show. Without a doubt, his is the most natural, from the heart Elvis sound today. Rob Street began his music career in the mid 80s playing country, rock n roll, and just about everything else in small clubs in the Dallas area, but it was the half dozen or so Elvis tunes that the crowd remembered. Clearly a lifetime love of Elvis and his music had molded Rob vocally, physically, and mentally. Rob had become Elvis not just on stage, but in day to day life, wearing the dress, the hair, the sideburns, living in his own Graceland, complete with music gates. Robs "Graceland" is a well known local attraction to generations of fans, young parents eager for their children to see the Elvis they had seen in their youth at many school auditoriums, fairs, car shows, etc. Rob has left a deep impression on all whom have seen his performances. Not only does Rob have an uncanny vocal ability, his style, charisma, and stage presence is the epitomy of "The King" himself! Rob has performed hundreds of his "Tribute to Elvis" concerts throughout the 90s to early 2000s. To his credit, Rob has had 28 state Fair appearances, numerous car shows and corporate events, as well as private parties to the delight of all involved. Robs show is up close and personal with the audience, giving away dozens of hand-sewn scarves in every show as well as fond memories. He has performed along side The Box Tops, The Drifters, The Shirelles, among others. In '06, Rob hung up his jumpsuits for a rest, restoring classic cars in his beloved Graceland, situated the east Texas countryside. Now well-rested, voice better than ever, and hungry for the love of the fans, Rob is ready for the stage again.
