• I wanted Rick come to a birthday party for myself and two friends. He has strict instructions that he did not know anybody but was in complete costume, and just happen to be in this bar. No singing other than a few notes without music. He said he was staying in the hotel and just came from a show. • Rick Torres was very accomadating and responded quickly to my request. It was my mother's 70th birthday, and although she is a conservative lady, Rick made her feel great. He really knows how to break the ice and sees to it that everybody has fun. My aunts were dancing and they all had a blast. They will never forget this event, especially my mother. We had 30 kids and parents who were so impressed that when he finished they rushed him for photographs! He has the coolest sound system with this L.E.D. Elvis sign on top. • I originally booked Rick the Elvis impersonator for 45 minutes to mingle with the guest at the party and sing 8 songs. The 250 plus guest who attended the party were so impressed with him I asked him to stay longer which he gladly did and performed request songs for the guest. • Overall, Rick Torres was very professional, I just had a few small issues. First, the sound system...It reminded me of an "AM radio," kind of sound. Very Karaoke. Second, the gig was suppose to start at 7:00. Our cooks were unable to get the food out on time, so we had to ask Mr. Torres to start at 7:20. He did, but also stopped playing at 7:45. I paid for a 45 minute show, not a 25 minute show. I was mingling with guest and didn't really notice until my DJ came up to me and told me he was just playing a 25 minute set. Rick: owner of King Creole created a rolling self contained wireless system that required no set-up and performed in front of our booth. • Our residents at our skilled nursing facility were so excited to attend the event we had scheduled with Rick (Elvis Impersonator). He was very engaging and enthusiastic with our residents and they enjoyed the songs he sang. We have had him perform at several events at our facility, each time he is more entertaining. A recent event we had in our parking lot, Elvis drive up in his pink cadillac and what a treat it was for our residents. Everyone was so excited and had a great time listening to the music and taking pictures, what a great day. We will definitely have him come back for future events. • Rick I should say ELVIS ROCKS!!! Elvis was the hit of the party!!! Everyone loved it. It was amazing how well he could sing with the sound system all coming from this portable system that rolles in. and this was in a restaraunt. can;t imagine what he would be like on a stage. • Rick has been DJ'ing for my family for over 6 years. We are a large family and have MANY events even extended family Rick DJ's for. There are more words of praise than I have room for for Rick. He DJ'd my daughter's sweet 16 and made a chaotic mess run so smooth, his assistant Bobby is the best, they could not be a better team. I will be getting married next year and guess who my DJ is???? • Rick is a true professional, a real showman and crowd pleaser. We've had Rick perform an Elvis tribute for us in the past, but yesterday we had him do a DJ/Karaoke set-up. Wow! A great system, great song selection, and we already knew----he's a great singer! Everyone at our company party had a fabulous time and enjoyed the music, karaoke, and of course, our special song requests of Elvis. Many people told me that they thought it was an actual Elvis track---until they turned around and saw Rick singing. The night couldn't have gone any better. • "Elvis" was a surprise to all the guests...and they were all equally surprised, excited, and impressed with his performance. He sang, danced, and gave it his all...then, everyone went outside to his pink caddy for photos and a ride around, Elvis style. I would highly recommend him for any special occation. • This was the first time that I had ever done an event like this and it was a great experince. Rick was very professional and helped with any questions that I had along the whole process. I could call him anytime with questions and he would always give me a straight answer. He was very helpful when it came to making extra money for our event and helped in anyway that he could. His show was one of the coolest things that I have ever seen! He brought lights and lasers, smoke and best of all was his huge Elvis sign that lit up behind him the whole time during his show.
