He began entertaining in His hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki, where he performed for crowds from around the world. In Oregon, he won Best Elvis Entertainer from Cool 99.1 Radio and also won Gospel Artist Of The Year by the Oregon Gospel Music Association (OGMA). In Branson, MO, he was nominated for Male Vocalist Of The year as well as Male Gospel Vocalist Of The Year. In Las Vegas, NV, he's known as the most entertaining Elvis showman around.

• Exceptional, Exceptional, Exceptional. David Lomond is by far the best Elvis impersonator I have ever seen. We were celebrating my 60th birthday on June 14th, flag day and our 30th wedding anniversary coming up on the 4th of July, so our theme was red, white and blue, patriotic style. David wore his USA red, white and blue Elvis suit and fit the part to perfection. His voice, look, personality and performance were all top notch. • This was an excellent experience! David is a Great person and a FANTASTIC "Elvis". He communicated with us before the event and always responded to our questions which helped keep some of our event stress down. He arrived at the perfect time and set up quietly, it was a surprise for my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary and he just "fit" into the crowd! None of the guests had any concept of what was about to happen. After changing,he came out as "ELVIS" and began to sing, there were tears and everyone stood in disbelief during almost the whole show!
