About
Talented, funky, and just downright FUN to watch onstage, Groove Planet blasts with soulful vocals and creative arrangements that keep audiences moving. The four core members are versatile musicians who enjoy performing everything from 1930's jazz standards to what's on the radio right now. From Gladys Knight to Beyonce, Simply Red to Maroon 5, Hall & Oates to Neon Trees, Al Green to Ceelo Green... no song is out of bounds, no style is out of reach.
Groove Planet starts with a versatile quartet of drums, bass, keyboards and vocals, but can grow into a full-on Earth, Wind & Fire-style 10-person group with a full horn section, depending on the event needs. They've written and performed custom shows for corporate clients and festivals complete with costumes and choreography.
The band loves weddings! And they enjoy working with couples to create that perfect blend of intimate, special songs (making that first dance memorable), and kick-your-heels-off dance music that sends the couple off in style.
