Cool Shoes stands out, in how we look, how we sound and what we play. We focus on music that appeals to all ages and a diverse audience - classic soul, hot Motown, cool funk and old-school R&B (think Aretha, not Beyonce). We love to cook up lip-smacking good tunes that satisfy... an ever-growing list of great songs from the likes of James Brown, Ray Charles, Sam & Dave, Tower of Power, Earth, Wind & Fire and more, plus a few surprises to keep things interesting.

THE SHOW:
Standard rock and dance bands that play nothing but the same tired set list are a dime a dozen. We mix it up with songs you know and love but that you rarely get to hear played live. We also go out of our way to engage and interact with the audience. With Cool Shoes, you get much more than just great music. Our goal is to get people out of their seats and dancing, all night long!

THE LOOK:
A big part of what makes a band entertaining is looking good and being enjoyable to watch. Many bands just show up in worn jeans and T-shirts and pay no attention to what the audience wants to see. Not us. Our band members have style, terrific chemistry and a very strong stage presence, and we take care to dress appropriately. Our look is sharp and classy, never cheap or sloppy.

THE SOUND:
When it comes to sound, it's no secret that too many bands play far too loud and have sound quality that, frankly, stinks. Our radical, top-shelf Bose audio system lets us deliver, clear, clean, powerful sound that won't leave your guests cringing from overwhelming volume. You'll go home at the end of the night with a big grin on your face…not ringing ears.

We know that when you hire a band, professionalism is very important. You'll find us prompt, reliable, responsive, reasonable and very easy to work with. And we're surprisingly affordable!
