SOUL EXPRESSIONS is a high-energy soul band that can play funk, rock, reggae, jazz, and Motown, as well as today's top hits. This 7-piece band includes bass, drums, lead and rhythm guitars, keys, sax, and vocals. Versatility is the key, with each person contributing something different. Each member is a seasoned professional on their instrument, but they still know how to keep it fresh. From stadium shows to intimate weddings and everything in between, members of the band have played with such artists as Missy Elliot, American Hi-Fi, Patti LaBelle, Letters to Cleo, Destiny's Child, P-Funk, and other notable acts all over the world.

With tight funky rhythms and powerful vocals, SOUL EXPRESSIONS will have your party movin' and folks on the floor groovin' from the first beat. Lenny Holmes, an amazing showman, exudes electricity, as much from his charisma on stage as from his thrilling, crowd-pleasing lead guitar and vocals. From Parliament to Prince to the Stones to 50 Cent, he does it all. The multi-talented Richard D'Abreu provides the perfect finishing touch on each song: piano, Rhodes, organ, brass, strings, or clavinet, a sizzling live sax, a deep bass or high falsetto background vocals. With the ability to make it smooth or raw, Eric Anderson effortlessly sings convincing Stevie Wonder, Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye, Doobies, George Benson, Marley, Justin Timberlake and more, all while strumming a mean rhythm guitar. As if that weren't enough, he also plays keyboard. Wilbert Anderson, "the man in the middle," epitomizes funk with a Victor Wooten-like combination of foot stompin' groove and bass wizardry. Like James Brown used to say: "Whatso-never he plays, it GOT to be funky!" Ben Miles, King of the Back Beat, makes you want to dance all night, has the best looking left-handed drum kit in the state, and is pure excitement to watch. • I initially heard Soul Expressions at a party the year before I needed a band for my event. Everyone had such a great time and enjoyed their music and good spirits on stage that we booked them for our event (a graduation party).
