The John King Dance Band started out playing in local bars in the Reading and Philadelphia area. Soon we were asked to play community events, block parties, 4th of July celebrations, fund raisers,fairs and weddings. We also performed with Three Dog Night,Steppinwolf and Kansas. We played for TV legend's Sally Stars Birthday party,Boxing Champ Steve Little's party. We have performed at many weddings from small intimate settings to large country club celebrations. We were asked to play New Years Eve for our local radio station Y102 held at the Crown Hotel (Sheraton)and sold out (500 rooms).The John King Dance Band has two great lead vocalists Alaina & John. On keys Lenny,drums John,bass quitar Chad, lead guitar Esteban and sax Seth. We play a variaty of dance music from Cab Calloway and Edda James to Pink and Maroon 5.Funk,Clasic Rock,Pop,Soul and R&B..Anything we love.. we play it!
