Kelly Silver, founder of Silver Lining Entertainment, was born into a musical family just outside London; her mother, a singer and dancer, her father, a drummer and artist manager. By the age of five she was performing on stage in her mother's cabaret show. She soon began winning awards for dance, as well her skills as a singer and pianist, including the British Arts Awards, "Best All Round Entertainer". She landed roles on the BBC television shows Kids International and You Should Be So Lucky. She performed onstage with UK comedy duo Cannon and Ball and appeared in stage productions as Annie in Annie and Nancy in Oliver. She also began developing another talent, songwriting. At sixteen, Kelly left home to attend a professional theatrical school where she trained in dance, voice and drama. Upon graduation, she decided to focus on singing. She was the opening act for UK chart-topping act, 2 Unlimited. As a recording artist, she has worked with many notable producers, including Tony Visconti (David Bowie, T. Rex), Kelly sang 'Dangerous Games', featured in the Austrian film Love Games, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. She has performed for the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and has appeared as a vocalist on the records Thirteen Stories, Living in America, and the children's record Guess Who Zoo. After moving to New York, Kelly began putting her diverse musical background to use as a DJ, and has performed at numerous clubs and private events. She also returned to school to study Audio Engineering, a skill she uses in recording her original songs and in live performances.

• I am very happy that we had Kelly as our DJ at my daughter's sweet 16 birthday party. We had planned a 1980s theme and my daughter had a list of great 80s music we thought the kids would enjoy. The adults were all loving the music but it turned out the kids seemed to have little clue as to how to dance to 80s music, who knew? Kelly threw in a few current hits and they began to move. Kelly played some great modern dance music and the kids were on their feet and moving,along with us 40 somethings. • Kelly was amazing and so easy to work with! We emailed back and forth quite a bit about the music before the party and she always responded promptly and professionally. She was responsible and knowledgable about the music I was looking for - it was a British punk/80's party, I felt that I could trust her that it all would be great. • We were so delighted with SilverLining's professionalism,and flexability with a vast array of music,we were truley amazed, obtaining any song with minimal information. Kelly was so warm and accomodating, making our special day even more special ! With the wedding at the beach ,we were concerned about the background noise. The sound system was fantastic ! • Kely was the karaoke DJ for my daughter's 10th birthday party inn a private room at a restaurant in an old inn. My daughter invited 12 other girls and Kelly did a great job finding out what music they enjoyed, making suggestions, and when it was obvious that the girls were losing interest in the karaoke after a while, she suggested some great games. They all loved that and she helped lead the dance games. She was pleasant and outgoing and we all had a great time.
