We are a professional DJ company serving the Chicagoland area and suburbs. All of our DJs are experienced, reliable and friendly. We specialize in weddings, school dances, holiday parties, corporate functions, reunions, birthdays, graduations, bar mitsvah's, anniversaries and much more. Pleasing our customers and getting a good review is very important to us. We hope you will take some time and read a couple of our reviews.
Our price includes a professional sound system, cordless microphone and a laser light show for dancing. We use laptops to run our professional Dj software for our music and karaoke. It also includes set up and break down of equipment and traveling expenses. We have so many songs in our music library and we also update it every month with all the new releases. We always like you to provide a songlist of special songs you wish to hear.
We customize all events based on your needs and preferences. It's your special day and we take the extra steps to make sure your event goes as planned. Our goal is to make sure your event is fun and memorable. We have been in business for 20 years and we are also fully insured. Client satisfaction is our top priority.

"Erin was our DJ for the evening. He got there by 4:30 in plenty of time to prepare and get ready and wasn't due to begin until 6:00 P.M. He was extremely friendly, organized and accomodating and played a wide variety of music to cater to all the different types of individuals/ages of people that were at the party. When an impending storm was coming Erin had to reset up in our basement and was very nice about it and we had lights, great music, etc! Erin and Dimensions in Sound was a hit and made my daughters graduation a party a night to remember, I would certainly use them again and would recommend them as well to anyone! Sincerely, Wendy J. "Dimensions in Sound (DIS) DJ'd for our wedding and they were great! Chris, our DJ, was was so accommodating with all of our requests. He was professional, kind, and kept people dancing on the dance floor. Our wedding party consisted of a fairly even split between 20 and 30 somethings and baby boomers and everyone had a great time! I would highly recommend DIS to anyone in need of a DJ, especially for a wedding. Thank you DIS and Chris for helping make our wedding so much fun!"

"We had the best experience with John & Chris! They were so accomodating with all requests that we had for our wedding, they we also wonderful with last minute changes we had. We gave them some guidelines for types of music we wanted played during different points in the evening but let them choose the actual playlists. Our guests LOVED the music. They couldn't stop talking about how awesome the songs were and perfect for the evening. They were professional and courteous throughout the whole eveving. "We worked with John prior to the wedding, and although he personally was not able to DJ at the reception, his associate Chris did and he was AWESOME. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ experience for our wedding reception. Chris was very professional and kept the flow of the party going with games to warm everyone up. The music was fantastic- he played some songs we chose as well as some that he chose which fit the mood perfectly. Everyone had a great time and I would very highly recommend Dimensions in Sound to anyone looking for a great DJ. I honestly have NOTHING even remotely negative to say about them. John and his team were able to come thru with our requests and the karaoke was great. We have a huge karaoke crowd and they were pleasantly surprised and pleased that we had included that as part of the program. "I dealt with John online prior to our engagement and he was nothing but professional. He responded immediately to my emails with any question that I had. We had a Halloween party and we had alot of polish speaking people. They had requested some polish songs-written and read in polish and Dimensions in Sound was able to accommodate.
Jamie was our DJ. Arrived before scheduled time , set up and even had a costume on. He played a wonderful selection of music and his light show was like a club! Everyone loved it. I have to say it was very nice the volume of music. We did not have an extremly large hall and he kept the level so it was not to loud. Recommend .Margo c"

"Mr. Dineen was set and ready to go by the time my family arrived at the venue; sound system was great, music choices during the event was on the mark, smooth jazz during the dinner meal and the dance music afterwards. The added touch of light effects was a surprise. Prior to the event informed Mr. Dineen of need to do a video slide show highlighting family members and past reunions. Mr. Dineen provided one to one consultation, allowed me to preview slide show to ensure my satisfaction. Once again the attention to detail made the event special."

"We had a party for 50 people in a rooftop party room in our condo so we had some restrictions on noise levels and some setup rules.
Chris came early to have setup complete before the food and guests arrived. He modulated the sound as necessary and provided lights to make the night more festive. He was very acomodating.
Regarding "entertainment"..we didn't use their karaoke equipment. We just danced to their broad selection of music available. We were able to select some music to start and asked them to pick similar tunes. Our guests had a great time... no one wanted to leave. Thanks!"

"Aaron the DJ was friendly and professional. However, we found that some of the songs were older and not current (according to my teen daughter). We did request a few modern songs and even gave my daughter's IPod to him so he could play some of her songs (that didn't happen).
Overall, he did a nice job, maybe just update your playlist for teen parties, my daughter turned 16. We had a blacklight party and the lights were awesome and looked great with all the glow sticks."

"Disappointed. They sat back and did very little to create a party atmosphere. I was expecting that they would emcee the affair. Their music tracks were poor versions of the originals in the wrong keys with mixed up words. They asked for payment in full at the beginning ofthe evening. Maybe they would have tried harder if I had not given it to them until it was over."

"I have no idea how this client gave us a bad review because everyone was singing the whole night. They were dancing to all the line dances and music we were playing when they wern't singinging, I got them all out in two lines and I played the stroll They were clapping and yelling having a great time. I even took a picture of them all singing in a group and I have that in my phone. At the end of the job I had people give us compliments that we did a great job and we gave out a couple cards. I just wanted to tell my story of what happened that night. "
