When DJ Good Peoples does a party, he leaves it all on the dance floor. DJing since 2005, Good Peoples has DJ'd at everything from birthday parties and weddings to lounges and concerts. Along with fulfilling the client's and audience's needs, Good Peoples believes that the rhythmic segue between two songs is essential to keeping the party going. Growing up in Detroit, he was exposed to a wide array of music from the African Diaspora, which his music collection reflects. Good Peoples possesses the best music from Hip-Hop, R&B, and Jazz, to Salsa, Soca, and Dancehall. He brings Detroit to ATL and beyond through an eclectic selection of good music for good people.
His music sets are uniquely made for every party or event and will be created according to clients' needs. He has many songs in genres that span the African Diaspora, which he regularly updates, such as: Hip-Hop (mainstream and underground), Soul, Jazz, Afro-House, Afrobeat, Kuduro, Soca, Bossa Nova, Salsa, Merengue, 3bal, Dancehall, Roots Reggae, Dub Reggae, R&B, New Jack Swing, New Orleans Bounce, Baltimore Club Music, Ghettotech, and last, but not least, Top 40. He can also acquire any music that clients need at no extra cost to them.
His personality is best described as a content DJ that likes to smile and keep the party going. He interacts with the audience as necessary, not overusing the microphone, and largely let the music speak for itself. His central focus is attending to the needs of the clients and the audience while focusing on keeping the music as fluid as possible (aka absent of disjointed segues and transitions).
Let him take care of the partying needs for your next event so that you can do the partying!
