Description
My name is Darren Mazyck (AKA DMDJ) and I love to party and have fun. I started playing music at the age of ten.
As time went on I decided to get into electronics. I learned more about audio equipment and went on to become a radio and TV repairman. Though I was still playing music, I felt very unfulfilled. This prompted my move to join the US Navy. I became a Missle Technician in advanced electronics on submarines. Besides my job, I also took care of the ship's audio and visual needs while at sea. When in port I was the base DJ.
I perform all the functions of a highly qualified DJ, and since my retirement from my country's service, I have continually delivered the best musical mixes to all my clients.

My name is Jai Ford aka DJ Jai-Smooth and I've been playing music for over 25 years.
I first started when I was about 4 years old. I would watch my father play drums, and in turn I learned to play drums, match beats, keep time and so on.
As a drummer, transitioning to a DJ came easy to me. It was like having a drum in my left hand and a drum in my right hand. The next thing I did was make them sound like one, which was no problem. My partner DMDJ and I drove our families crazy for hours playing music, and we loved it.
To this day I still enjoy playing music and I have played at clubs, made studio recordings, and records. I'll never give up playing music, It's in my blood.

- DMDJ was a gem! We hired him for our wedding reception. From the very beginning, he talked to us to get an idea of what our vision was for the music. He was very accommodating and allowed us to give him a CD of music to play, and played almost every song at the reception. He knew how to keep the crowd on the floor, and was able to switch gears if a song wasn't working to keep the energy alive. He played a mix of everything that pleased all generations. Darren is a true professional. He was prompt with providing us the contract, and always returned our phone calls right away. He has the look, the sound and overall skills. He communicated with myself and my husband throughout the reception to see when we were ready to do the first dance, cake cutting, etc. and kept the party moving along. Everything was smooth from start to finish! I would highly recommend him for a wedding reception or any other event!

- Let me first start off by saying that DMDJ were so accomodating and professional from beginning to end in preparation of our wedding day! Darren never was unprofessional he always offered a helping hand in any decision that was made regarding the entertainment portion. - We had a blast at our wedding. The next morning I woke up and couldnt figure out why my leggs hurt so much. After I sobered up i relized it was because the dj had us on the floor ALL night. I have been to weddings where the dj had to be told to kick it up. Not our wedding, Darren did a great job at gettin people up and keaping them dancing.
