CLIENT FEEDBACK:
Both the DJ and emcee were fantastic. They completed a lot of prep work with the wedding party to make sure the reception was perfect. The DJ did a great job of mixing the music to appeal to all ages and to keep the party from dragging. The emcee was talented and creative. They also worked so well with the venue manager to keep the event running smoothly that we only needed to mix with the guests and have fun. To top it off they were just plain “nice” people. I would highly recommend them for any event.

The two guys from Defiant that coordinated my reception were nothing less than amazing! There were a few issues with the staff in the hall that worried me. The food wasn't served on time. I was told there was a problem in the kitchen and all my friends and family were there. The DJs heard of the problem and it was as if they knew all along that this would happen and had planned for it. They played some creative games to stall for time and gave the kitchen the extra half an hour they needed to get the food out to us. Not one of my guests knew that the kitchen was behind schedule. They thought it was all planned. I was amazed at how well the DJs handled the situation.

My fiance found Defiant on the internet and we booked them EARLY. We used Defiant to provide the sound for the ceremony as well as the DJ and MC for the reception. During the ceremony, everyone could hear exactly what the preacher and what we were saying. They had everything hooked up wirelessly. So, there wasn't a bunch of cords, microphone stands, and clutter like my friend had. They were there exactly when they said they would be and while they are young (which worried me), they were definitely pros at this. The reception incredible. The introductions obviously took a lot of work and were perfect. The dance music was great, too! Thanks, guys!

Great job all around guys! They were the best dj's that I have ever dealt with. I will reccommend them to all my friend's and family getting married. I was very impressed with their collection of latin music that many of my friends requested at the reception. My cousin played a song on his guitar at the reception and his amp quit working. The DJ quickly stepped in and had my cousin's music coming through his own speakers in no time. I am very apprecciative of his flexibility. Thank you many times again.

Everyone had such a great time! I can't thank them enough for everything Craig and JD did the whole day. They managed the entire event so I could enjoy myself and it made the whole reception far less stressful than I thought it would be. Mark and I did our homework when it came to finding a DJ for our wedding reception. These guys gave us a DJ AND an MC. It was funny how many people at the wedding thought that they knew us and were old friends. Craig and JD really went out of their way to get to know us and what our needs were. All my friends had a fantastic time at my party.....I don't think I could have lucked out anymore when picking a DJ. He was on time, very professional, and kept everyone dancing and singing. My DJ was very helpful throughout the whole wedding. He was always keeping us updated with what his plans were and he would keep us on our feet when it came to things like the cake cutting, the dances, etc. He was very nice and very professional.

Our reception got moved from the room it was supposed to be in to another one that was much much larger than the one we had scheduled them to be in. The change happened last minute and we didn't know about it before hand. We were worried that we weren't going to have enough sound to sound good. I told JD about our concern between the ceremony and the reception. I could see a disaster happening before my eyes. JD and Craig talked it over and before we even arrived at the hall, they had brought in extra sound equipment to solve the problem. Thank you so much, Craig! From my first meeting with Craig, I honestly felt like I was the center of attention and that he really cared to provide me with more than I could've known to ask for.
I am the "office event planner". So, I've worked with DJs more than I care to admit. At least 10 times in the last 2 years. In all those times, I never had a DJ that worked for me that I wanted to call back for my wedding. :(
When I found Defiant, I assumed, it would be another crap shoot. Even after calling, I wasn't sure. But after my first meeting with Craig, I was confident that things would be fine. After seeing Craig and JD in action, I finally have a DJ card in my rolodex. GREAT JOB GUYS!

Craig Conrad of Defiant Mobile was well worth the money! He helped me with anything I asked him to do for the reception, and did not complain about anything! He helped make our reception the best reception that we could have asked for, and we had so many compliments from the family members as well! I would definately recommend him for any party you want a DJ for! I actually already did recommend him for my cousins reception in the near future! Great fun! In a night of complete chaos (outdoor wedding in June turned cold & windy, limo drivers (United Limo) were rude, etc., etc., Conrad and JD were refreshingly professional and kept the dance floor packed ALL night - Highly recommend these guys :) Thanks for the memories!!

I had my concerns at first about hiring a dj online but they were put to rest to with the quick and knowledgeable responses from Defiant Mobile Entertainment. I called a few other companies and I always received voice mail but with when I called Defiant I got to speak to a real person. Right after I spoke with Craig, I hired them and I couldn’t be happier because my wedding turned out perfect. People had so much fun and they did thing where the wedding party built a wedding cake that was priceless. I completely recommend Defiant Mobile Entertainment! Thanks again guys.

Where do I begin....everyone of our guests/clients complimented us on picking such fantastic DJs and they were nothing short of amazing. From the music they played to their exceptional skills as an MC, Defiant Entertainment took control of the microphone and kept my event going at the perfect pace. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of a DJ!! Plus they were extremely helpful in setting up some other AV equipment that we had...to the point of lending me a power strip and hooking the audio into their speakers. He was ready to help us in anyway he could. I forgot an extension cord for my slide show, he was quick to supply what I needed. He had plenty of great ideas for keeping the party moving for the entire 5 hours that he was hired. He definitely knew what he was doing to help us produce a fantastic birthday party. I used GigMasters to find a DJ quickly for a surprise birthday party. Defiant DJ responded immediately with a quote that was quite reasonable. Craig Conrad was very responsive and answered all my questions ahead of time. On the evening of the event, Craig was stuck in traffic, but called to let me know he would be there and ready to go by the time he was scheduled to start. I appreciated his communicating with me, and by the time we got to the party, Craig was set up and ready just like he promised. Defiant DJ is very professional, had a reasonable price and was very pleasant to work with. I would (and will) definitely recommend them!

We had a very ethnically diverse crowd, and a slow start. Craig took a few songs to get a feel for what the crowd was in to. But he found the right groove fairly quickly and my guests enjoyed the music a lot. He was also fantastic with the kids - I didn't expect that. If we do this again next year, Defiant will be my first call.
