Hello my name is Young Cho but most people in the industry know me as DJ Twin Spin. I've been a professional DJ for over 20 years and I perform on a regular basis all throughout California at various types of events and venues including: Weddings, Night Clubs, Fashion Shows, Retail Stores, Corporate Events, Festivals, Dances and more. I am based out of San Francisco and born and raised in the Bay Area. I have DJed over 600 weddings and a combined 700+ corporate, private, retail, night club, street festivals and fashion show events throughout my DJing career. I've been blessed to have the opportunity to DJ for numerous well known companies such as: Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Macys, Kaiser Hospital, Guess, Sandisk, eBay, Hilton Hotels, Oracle, State Farm Insurance, Nordstrom, Genentech and more.
The most common question I get from clients is, "What makes you different from other DJs?" The answer is fairly simple...experience and lots of it. Today with the help of technology, everyone and anyone can call themselves a "DJ". The big difference though is that DJing is more than just playing music for people. It takes years and years of experience to know how to play the right music for the right crowd; to know how to read a crowd and be able to cater to their tastes. I have over two decades of DJing experience, performing at all types of events imaginable. I've DJed for both the young and the old and I come from a generation of DJs when knowing how to play and mix all genres of music for all age groups and nationalities was an absolute must!
From Top 40, Hip Hop, R&B and Pop, to Rock, Country and 80's, to House and EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Oldies, Funk and Soul, Old School and Disco, my taste for music is extremely broad and as a result I'm very versatile when it comes to the style of music I spin. The most popular term people like to use today to describe DJs like myself are called "Open format" DJs because I'm able to mix all genres of music for any type of crowd. I truly believe a great DJ is someone who can mix all genres of music, knows how to read a crowd well and knows when to play the right song, at the right moment, for the right occasion. I take great pride in what I do and I always pour my heart and soul into my DJing performances.
In addition to my regular venue performances, I have also DJed on the air waves for radio stations: Wild 94.9 and 99.7 Now FM. For three years, I was also the 5PM afternoon drive mix show DJ for radio stations 92.7 Rev FM in San Francisco, 104.3 Now FM in Las Vegas and Hot 97.7 in Palm Springs. I am also a long time resident DJ at two of San Francisco's most popular well known night clubs; Slide Ultra Lounge and the world famous AsiaSF .
No event is too large or too small for me. I'm able to provide a complete DJing, sound and lighting package to meet your needs and your budget. In addition, I can provide you with extra lighting and sound reinforcement for your event. Colored LED uplighting, video projection, monogram gobo lights are just some examples. Last but not least, my number one asset as a DJ are my clients. Customer service is my main concern and I believe in providing nothing less than excellent service for each and every one of them.
