MC MARK ANDREW
-"MC Mark Andrew" came to Nashville from Los Angeles to join Blue Tone Music Talent and Entertainment. He performed his first DJ job while still in High School, and now with close to 20 years of event experience in the DJ industry as well as a vocalist and sound production engineer, MC Mark is a master of ceremonies.
Along with being a music trivia buff, he is an expert in 70's, 80's and current dance music. For a typical event such as a wedding reception, Mark might begin the evening with music in the styles of Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett and Louis Armstrong. Then, when it's time to get the party started its non stop dance hits, one after another. Motown, 80's, R&B, swing, disco, 70's funk, classic rock n' roll, country, and current top 40, are just a few of the styles that pack the dance floor. Clients may prefer to choose all or some of the repertoire themselves or confidently allow MC Mark to read the flow of the evening. He offers the perfect combination of experience for mixing music, personality and professionalism at your special event.
DJ ALTERED EGO
-Kevin Curphey, aka DJ Altered Ego, is way more than just an event DJ. An expert in sound-scaping, Kevin manipulates analog vinyl and digital sound mediums to produce music with influences of ambient trance, hard house, drum-n-bass and progressive house. With a long list of credits and experience with corporate functions and weddings, he has also been the resident DJ at prominent urban clubs including "The Beach" and "Club Utopia" in Las Vegas as well as "The Evening News Café Club" in Scotsdale, AZ.
DJ Altered Ego, Kevin Scott Curphey, has worked with top music industry giants like Moby, Christopher Lawrence, Keoki, Paul Van Dyk, legendary trance vocalist Kirsty Hawkshaw, DJ Baby Anne, Denny Randle (Sex and the City, American Warewolf in London and Studio 54 movie soundtracks) and Mickey "Mixin" Oliver (President of Hot Mix 5). These electronic music heavy's have helped shape Kevin Curphey's music career and style. Kevin worked on Mickey Oliver's production team and is currently with A&R Select, the premier A&R Agency based out of Los Angeles, CA. When it comes to energy drenched dance music, he's the real deal.
As a mobile Disc Jockey, Kevin Curphey brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the nuances of music texture, the pulse of beats and the emotional sweep of melodies. A standard event music library might include pop, country, rock, hip hop, chill, classic rock, funk, Motown, hard house, drum-n-bass, R&B and other styles. When Kevin draws from an event repertoire, either chosen by the client or by himself, the outcome is original mixes and so much more.

The Bluetones are amazing! If you want to have a great party, book them. We had both a DJ and an 8 piece band (long story). It actually worked out perfectly. they both kept the dance floor covered all night long. Everyone has said that our wedding was the best they have attended. They were very professional and kept in touch with us to make sure everything was as we wanted it. I was most impressed with the way they dealt with a potential crisis. We left our first dance song in another state (it was recorded by an relatively unknown artist). We did not realize this until after the ceremony was over and the cocktail hour was beginning. Our DJ was able to go on-line and get our specific song in time for our first dance. I was beyond impressed! The Bluetones go above and beyond. I would definitely book them again.
