Retro-Sky is one South Florida most engaging 80/90s/Y2K cover bands because they will take what was great about the hits from those decades and give them a more updated, live and exciting rock feel. Many 80s songs can sound dated or cold because they were produced with early-era drum machines and layers of keyboards. Retro-Sky breathes new life into these songs and performs them with real passion, often re-creating the keyboard melodies with guitars or merging different sections from one 80s song into another in exciting ways. For example, when Retro-Sky performs Duran Duran's “Hungry Like the Wolf,” they will incorporate a breakdown which includes the chorus of Dead or Alive's “You Spin Me Round.”

Many South Florida club owners, including Scott Cocalis of Jada Coles, say that Retro-Sky has one of the very best guitar players in the South Florida scene, Mr. Andrew Ramirez. Singer Robert Interian is highly charismatic and entertaining. The rhythm section includes Miami-Dade College drumming instructor Bill Gato and band leader Frank Moreno on bass. Depending on the event, Retro-Sky occasionally features Henry Alonso on guitar, vocals and keyboards. The band's immense musical talent and skill allows them to perform practically any pop/rock standard and take some respectful liberties, yet never losing the integrity of the original song.
