Native New Yorker is a "musical time machine" covering classic "Rock'n'Roll" and memorable standards from the 1950's to the present. We also perform high energy dance tunes from both the MoTown and Disco eras. We can customize your event with special requests and even offer a thematic evening of select music for your preference. During band intermissions we can also provide music of your choice. NNYer is also available as a trio (piano, vocals, percussion) or a quartet (piano, vocals, percussion and guitar). For fine dining venues we offer a selection of softer, mellow tunes to start, allowing for intimate dinner conversation; gradually "amping" things up as the night progresses creating a dance party atmosphere with high energy dance tunes including hits from both the Disco and MoTown eras. We want to hold our audience through the evening and provide great entertainment. In the words of Elvis Presley "we're gonna try to play all the songs you wanna hear." NNYer's music is the direct result of a dedication to practice wherein individual tunes are carefully crafted to offer the highest quality possible. Whether covering the original artist's song verbatim or offering a creative interpretation the end result is top notch entertainment. When preparing for a wedding event, attention to detail is accomplished by working with the bride and groom to create a memorable affair which can be scripted according to the customer's wishes.
