What is Hip is Montreal's Funk, R&B, Soul, Show Band. With a little edge and a lot of soul, this high energy Funk fest has got an infectious vibe that has to be experienced.
Drawing on such musical influences sandwiched somewhere between James Brown and Tower Of Power (with a spicy hint of the Chili Peppers and old school R&B), their live show set list plays like a grab bag of ………..What is Hip!!!
Always the professionals, What is Hip can be booked as a 6 piece band or the Full Monty…..a 11 piece full show band. Clubs, Festivals, Parties or weddings we do it all…….'cause at the end of the day….it's All about the Groove!

Absolutly FNTASTIC! Prfct!
Ths band ws tight! The rl deal. Lot of talent and well rehearsd. They r youtful & energetc.
The singer ws on-point & played the crowd, what a voice!
The brass were cohesive & funky & delivered by a lovely and talented trio who even treated us to a couple solos. The female vocalist had a beautiful, clear soulful voice. Props! The keybrd player, bassist & guitarst r all top-notch & treated us to a couple solos of their own.& thanks to the drummer for keeping things tight.
The wrst part of it all is this stupid 675 character limit on posting coments.cant afford wEb space, eh GIGMASTERS?.
