Having made a name for themselves in Toledo's live music scene in the mid 90's, the name Velvet Jones often strikes a chord with fun seekers of all ages and walks of life in northwest Ohio. Concentrating their focus on special events and private parties in recent years, the band's longevity, name recognition, and expertise have given the trio the opportunity to perform at countless events throughout northwest Ohio. From black tie fund-raisers to barefoot barbecues, VJ brings a widespread mix of new/modern rock songs, 90's alternative, big 80's retro, and 60/70's classics - all performed with a focus on fun!

"I just attended a wedding and just want to plug the band. They were awesome!! the dance floor was packed the entire night with everyone from old to young. They played like a DJ during Breaks...they were awesome. Now the wedding was in Cincinnati but the band is from Toledo. The bride and groom paid them to come down and paid for their hotel. SO WORTH IT.I know it sounds like I am a vendor I am not. I have don't even know how to explain that I am not other than my feet are killing after last nights wedding from dancing in 3 inch heels for 6 hours. (yep they even played an extra set b/c everyone was begging for it)...Velvet Jones is awesome. I got married last year but if I had to do it over again..I would book them A+++.
