• I've planned corporate parties for the past 13 years and this band was as top notch as they come. The Trip literally tore up my shoes and they ended up in the trash before leaving the resort!! They played a great diverse mix of current & classic rock music... but when they played Led Zeppelin's Rock and Roll I was a goner (in a good way). It was like I was at a concert. • These guys are AWESOME! We had the best wedding that we could have imagined, and a lot of credit is due to the band- The TRIP. We didn't discuss a playlist ahead of time, as they said they would play based on their read of the audience, and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. They can play such a wide range of music so well (they even played a Rush song at the request of one of the groomsmen, and they nailed it!). If you're considering the Trip for your wedding, DO IT! • If I could give The Trip all 10s I would! They were absolutely fantastic and kept the dance floor PACKED throughout the entire wedding. They were totally professional and a pleasure to work with. They got there early to set up, played our playlist between sets, and even learned two songs for us (and learned them very well). It was seriously like having a private concert at our wedding. • From the moment our wedding was over guests were calling us to say that they haven't had that much fun in years and that it was the band that made the night so awesome! • We hired The Trip to perform at our wedding on July 4, 2010 in La Jolla. Based on everything we read about the band, we had extremely high expectations. • This was the most fantastic wedding band! After the first dance and the father-daughter dance, the guests literally flooded the dance floor and did not stop dancing until the party ended. All of our guests could not stop raving about how good they were, and how they couldn't remember the last time they heard a band at a wedding, let alone one so killer. • We were blown away by the performance the Trip gave at our venue on Saturday, March 5th, 2011! Erik (band member / management) was extremely professional and courtesy to work with. The band arrived to our event on time, equipment setup, and were began to rock the house. Our guests, management, and team members were all having a great time. • I had heard The Trip was a great band but I never in my wildest dreams expected them to be as amazing as they were. • The Trip was absolutely awesome and completely lived up to my expectations. They had people on their feet moving and praising their talents. As a backyard event, we prepared for the electrical need ahead of time, unfortunately, the electrician made a mistake and we lost power twice. My heart was broken, but Steve and crew helped come to the rescue by running cords and making the music come back to life. It cut down on the overall playing time, but I don't think anyone remembered since the performance was so strong. The only regret- I did not ask for more time! • The Trip is honestly the best band to hire on the market. They played our wedding on march 13th it's been 2 weeks and I have alredy had 5 calls from friends requesting the bands name and number to hire for their parties. • The Trip was AMAZING! They packed the dance floor for the entire night at our wedding reception. All of our guests enjoyed every song that was performed and we wished they could have played all night. Steve and the band were so accomodating, they learned the song for our first dance and played it perfectly. We are now looking for an excuse to have another party that they can play at for us again! • My husband's only request for the wedding reception was to have a live band. The Trip more than exceeded our expectations. Mike Lewis took good care of us and was extremely responsive beforehand. They are very talented musicians (the guitarist had some face-melting solos that rocked) and cover a wide repertoire of music. They were funny and even though the dance floor wasn't always packed (it was an afternoon affair after all), we've gotten lots of compliments from our friends.
