Erik Johnson - Guitar/Vocals
-Erik is the son of the Surfaris (Wipe Out) guitarist. He's musically trained and covers all of the Classical/Solo guitar requests.
Steve Fazio - Guitar/Vocals
-Steve has performed across the globe as a guitarist for Danelectro

"Truly talented musicians. Their performance was very sharp. Flawless sound. Everyone at our wedding loved the band and commented afterward how awesome they were. They played all the songs we requested and each of them sounded as good as the original. The band members were very friendly and accommodating. "I've planned corporate parties for the past 13 years and this band was as top notch as they come. The Trip literally tore up my shoes and they ended up in the trash before leaving the resort!! They played a great diverse mix of current & classic rock music... but when they played Led Zeppelin's Rock and Roll I was a goner (in a good way). It was like I was at a concert. The dance floor was packed all evening. Everyone commented to me during and after the party on how great the band was. I'd book them again in a heartbeat (and I probably will). Great job guys!!"

"These guys are AWESOME! We had the best wedding that we could have imagined, and a lot of credit is due to the band- The TRIP. They played all the songs we hoped for, and every song sounded like it was the original artist playing. The dance floor was constantly packed.
On top of that, the band was GREAT about conducting announcements, toasts, first dances, etc. I don't have enough good things to say about this band- I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them.

"Stop your search now and hire The Trip! You will be VERY glad you did. I'm a producer/musician myself and these guys are THEE tightest cover band I've ever heard or seen. They are all super cool guys, and as professional as any band I've ever come across.(including bands that do originals)
You will not find a band with more diversity that plays everything so close to the originals--your audience will be wowed. EVERY single person at our party commented on how awesome they were, and will never forget it. These guys are worth every penny and more. Wisely cut your budget elsewhere if you can book them! "The Trip was awesome! All of our guests (of all ages) raved about them! We didn't discuss a playlist ahead of time, as they said they would play based on their read of the audience, and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. They can play such a wide range of music so well (they even played a Rush song at the request of one of the groomsmen, and they nailed it!). If you're considering the Trip for your wedding, DO IT! It will be so worth it! Best wedding band ever! Also, we had Erik play acoustic guitar for the ceremony and it was also amazing, played perfectly and at the right volume. A big thank you to the Trip from us, you guys made our wedding!!!"

"If I could give The Trip all 10s I would! They were absolutely fantastic and kept the dance floor PACKED throughout the entire wedding. They were totally professional and a pleasure to work with. They got there early to set up, played our playlist between sets, and even learned two songs for us (and learned them very well). It was seriously like having a private concert at our wedding. The epic solos melted my face and I only wish I could get a bootleg of the show. After the wedding absolutely everyone said that was the best wedding band they'd ever heard! This was the last moment of our wedding as all the guests jam-packed the dance floor to catch one more classic tune from The Trip. Amidst all the vendors and madness that is "wedding day," the Trip was an absolute pleasure to have onboard. Always reachable, willing to learn any song and even allowing guests onstage to sing along - these guys flat-out know how to please. Every tune they played was met with a "I cant believe they're playing this song" reaction from our guests who ranged from young to old. I can't wait to book these guys again -Amazing Time Guaranteed-

"From the moment our wedding was over guests were calling us to say that they haven't had that much fun in years and that it was the band that made the night so awesome! The Trip were absolutely fantastic. They were professional and spot on with every song. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish and our friends and family literally had to be kicked off the dance floor once the night was over or else they would have been up there till the morning came. They covered every song perfectly, with great positive energy, giving you a performance you would only expect from a rock concert at a venue like the Hollywood Bowl!!!

"We hired The Trip to perform at our wedding on July 4, 2010 in La Jolla. Based on everything we read about the band, we had extremely high expectations. I can confidently say that they exceeded those expectations by about 10 miles. We had the best time ever, and we know all of our friends and family did as well. They are true professionals, excellent musicians and outstanding performers (not to mention being very easy to work with). In short, there is no way they could have possibly done a better job.
If you are considering them for your event, my advice is to book them now.

"This was the most fantastic wedding band! After the first dance and the father-daughter dance, the guests literally flooded the dance floor and did not stop dancing until the party ended. They were so so so fun. My mother literally asked the hotel if they were sure we wouldn't break through the dance floor because the room was basically shaking. Also, they can play really different types of music very very well. I would hire them again without hesitation.
Also, they were just easy to work with. They answered the phone whenever I called and were very helpful when the hotel made them set up very early at the last minute. Thanks so much!!! "

"The Trip was absolutely awesome and completely lived up to my expectations. They had people on their feet moving and praising their talents. As a backyard event, we prepared for the electrical need ahead of time, unfortunately, the electrician made a mistake and we lost power twice. My heart was broken, but Steve and crew helped come to the rescue by running cords and making the music come back to life. It cut down on the overall playing time, but I don't think anyone remembered since the performance was so strong. The only regret- I did not ask for more time! I am trying to think when we can have them next, don't hesitate if you're looking. Thanks, guys. "

"My husband's only request for the wedding reception was to have a live band. The Trip more than exceeded our expectations.
Mike Lewis took good care of us and was extremely responsive beforehand. They are very talented musicians (the guitarist had some face-melting solos that rocked) and cover a wide repertoire of music. They were funny and even though the dance floor wasn't always packed (it was an afternoon affair after all), we've gotten lots of compliments from our friends. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I have used them... this time for a house party with a trio, the first time for a big company party on the USS Midway, I think with 5 band members if remember correctly... Both times they were fabulous... both times I received compliments from the guests on the quality of their performance and their repertoire... and they were really fun to work with onsite... the pre-planning was a little low key which is why I put the 4 on professionalism... But Steve got back to me quickly every time... also, it was a rush job for the day after Christmas with only a week's notice... so considering...it was fabulous.."
