Description
If you are looking for one of the most exciting young country bands on the scene today.. look no further. The Chris Lane band is the answer.
The Chris Lane Band brings a fresh and lively performance to any event. Whether they are on the main stage or opening for national artists, they will always leave the crowd wanting more.
In addition to playing live shows for the public, the band is also available for private events such as weddings, festivals and corporate parties.
Chris has grown a huge local following , stretching from Greensboro, NC to Charlotte, NC and are now looking to expand even further. They bring a high intensity to the stage and are a perfect musical blend of youth and talent. The CLB focuses on country rock sound while also mixing classic rock, and a country twist on rap and R&B. The Chris Lane Band currently has a single, "Too Tennessee," playing on country radio. On December 14th, 2010 The CLB released their album to iTunes. That same day, the album climbed all the way to the #7 spot on the Top iTunes Country Albums chart, landing them next to some of their greatest influences; Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, and Lady Antebellum.
The Chris Lane Band is made up of 6 different individuals: Chris Lane, Chelsea Sorrell, Cory Lane, Dean Kreseski, Joseph Pope, and Tom Sale. After a successful college baseball career, Chris and his twin brother Cory began looking for that next challenge. It wasn't long after this, Chris and Cory realized they now had the time to pursue some musical interest. Chris picked up the guitar and Cory took a hold of the drums and in a few months they had booked their first show. Chris later met Chelsea at a local singing competition and invited her to sing at their next show. Their talent and the entertainment level quickly became a popular event to see which led Chris to the final pieces of the band. Now with a full band in place, Chris was able to expand their talents outside of the local restaurants to the larger clubs that facilitated national artists.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Chris and Cory Lane had a featured spot on season seven of American Idol. They were also briefly seen on Season 1 of Can You Duet. The Chris Lane Band has opened for National Artists such as Darius Rucker, Sara Evans, Justin Moore, The Band Perry, Jerrod Neiman, Randy Montana, James Otto, Laura Bell Bundy, Brantley Gilbert, Eli Young Band, Clay Walker, Sister Hazel and Cobra Starship.

Feedback
- My wife and I had Chris Lane perform at our rehearsal dinner after-party. They were fantastic, and we could not be happier with our decision to hire them.
Before the event, I spoke to Chris on the phone personally, and he was very nice and easy to get along with. He and his band required absolutely no direction from us; we simply told them when and where to be ready, and they took it from there.
At the party, many of our guests asked who the band was and said how much they loved them. For reference, our group was made up of late-20s and early-30s people. The Chris Lane Band played a wide variety of popular country and rock songs. -- Doug M, Greensboro, NC, 7/15/2011
- The Chris Lane Band performed for my wedding Reception and did an outstanding job!! I was blown away by their performance and their ability to get the crowd engaged and moving. Chris is uneblievably talented. I have had numerous comments on how great they were and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a young, vibrant, country band!! Chris and I spoke on several occasions prior to my event and he was willing to help with special requests and make sure all the song choices we wanted would be played. Chris even played an acoustic set of songs for us during dinner and it was spectacular. Chris wanted to make sure he made our night perfect and he certainly did! -- Layla B, Raleigh, NC, 2/18/2012
- Chris and the band were amazing! We had some trouble with communication early on but this was addressed and We were also aware of Chris's super busy schedule. The ceremony music was beautiful and the reception was so much fun! I would recommend Chris to anyone! The dance floor was full the whole night and our guest adored the band! -- Caroline B, Wilmington, NC, 4/21/2012
