Syndicate Of Soul

Band was established in 1995 as an 11 piece R & B Dance Band.

We offer the following:
2 or 3 piece horn section which includes 1 Grammy winning composer and 1 past player / band leader for James Brown for 24 years who now tours with Josh Stone.

1 female singers (strongest showing Aretha Franklin, Etta James, etc. material) with a total of 6 members that do lead vox from
Al Green to Jimmy Buffet to BB King to Stevie Ray Vaughn.

S O S does several medleys such as blues bros, Jimmy Buffet,along with early 60's tribute of KC and Sunshine Band, Sam and Dave, etc.

The bands speciality is corporate events which have included many for the State of TN and Ky plus the Tennessee Govenor's inaugural... we have performed at hundreds of corporate sponsored events ( example Toshiba, Martin Marietta, etc).... and the band is no stranger to weddings performing for hundreds in Tennessee, Kentucky,Alabama, and GA ....we perform at clubs in the south with the best know being
BB Kings Nasville and Silky O Sullivans on Beale St in Memphis (Beale st Spring Musicfest 4 years).

Type of music: Dance 60's, 70's, and 80's R & B, Rock, and Blues...with even a touch of country if you desire.

Should you event have a smaller budget we also offer a 5 or 6 pc. version of Syndicate of Soul...(Southwind) This group has performed since 1979 with 4 of the original players still in the band.
