Second Wind is a polished and versatile band featuring a powerful 5 piece horn section, a tight rhythm section, and top notch vocals. We cover a wide variety of musical styles ranging from the 60's through the present in a manner that often outclasses even the original hit. We take great pride in performing our songs in ways that are true to the original versions, but more musically savvy listeners will hear depth and elements in Second Wind's interpretations that are often not present in the recorded tunes that they've heard over the years.

What kind of music do we play?

We cover a very wide variety of styles of music appealing to all age ranges including Motown, classic rock and roll from the 60's on, R&B, and a few tunes thrown in just for fun. A typical evening's set list might include tunes from Chicago, Santana, The Beatles, Elvis, Steely Dan, Van Morrison, The Blues Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, Huey Lewis, The Righteous Brothers, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Brian Setzer, Steppenwolf, James Brown, The Ides of March, Blue Swede, The Temptations, Blood, Sweat, & Tears, and many more.

Second Wind has been a prominent member of the Cincinnati music scene since the late 90's with literally hundreds of very satisfied fans and clients. Typical venues and events include corporate functions, weddings, bars, community concerts, country clubs, festivals, and many other private functions.

Our band prides itself on presenting an entertaining and professional package-we're easy to work with and we NEVER fail to impress. We'll work with you on details for your event, and do whatever we can to make it even better than you planned.
