Rough Puppy is a guitar driven, 6-piece San Jose band combining crowd-stopping vocal and instrumental ability with an absolute focus on musicianship, professionalism and most of all, fun! We've been providing live party soundtracks of your favorite classic rock songs since 2007.

When we play we guarantee great music. From the soulful blues riffs of Stevie Ray Vaughan to the brash energy of the early Beatles, there's something for everyone. Secondly, we assure no games. In order to maximize fun, we've got to lay the groundwork and that means showing up prepared and on time. In addition, we believe communication is key before, during and after your event. Lastly, you can anticipate a surprise or two. That's about all we can say about that.

Rough Puppy's musical library is a continual work in progress, crafted with the goal of spanning as many diverse stlyes as possible while simultaneously rooting out material that our peers have "beaten into the ground."
